Hello, I'm Susan & I'm excited to meet you!I’m a certifying Full Spectrum Holistic Doula based in Carstairs, Alberta, serving families in Airdrie, Olds, and surrounding areas. With nurturing care, deep listening, and a calm presence, I create a space where you feel supported, seen, and at ease—no matter where you are in your journey.
My Story
I have been married for 24 years, have three amazing adult children and 3 babies who left too soon. I grew up in Calgary and migrated to Mountainview County with my husband to raise our children in the country. We have dogs, cats, horses and enjoyed ducks at one time. I enjoy travelling, strength training & cardiovascular fitness, reading, crocheting and spending time in the mountains or on the beach.
After working as an Educational Assistant for 12 years, I decided it was time to fulfill my dream of becoming a Full Spectrum Holistic Doula. I am deeply committed to providing emotional, physical and informational support to families on their journey in fertility, birth, postpartum and or infant/pregnancy loss.
My passion for supporting women and families through one of life’s most transformative experiences stems from my belief in empowering parents to feel confident, informed and supported every step of the way.
My approach is rooted in nurturing care, deep listening and a calm presence, which creates a safe and loving environment for you and your growing family.
